Country presentations are status reports of CORRA member countries on their national rice R&D programs. Each meeting, selected country members are asked to present their country rice R&D report focusing on an agreed topic (e.g. climate change mitigation programs or seed systems). These reports help IRRI align its research programs to the needs of its Asian country partners. For CORRA member countries, these reports, delivered during the Annual CORRA meeting, help foster a spirit of transparency and regional cooperation. It also functions to inform each member of alternative ways to solve common issues facing the rice industry in the region.
